Where do your expeditions and training take place?
The DofE guidelines stipulate that Gold should be in a wild country area, please contact us and we can discuss the best place for your expedition to take place taking into account transport links from your area.

What equipment is provided by School of Outdoors?
As standard we will provide all staff (supervisors and assessors), tents, trangias with gas, maps, compasses, camp site fees and Green forms all risk assessments. Personal kit is not provided.

Do my staff need to attend?
Whilst it is not necessary for staff from schools and centres to attend, we are happy for you to come along and see the effort put in by your students and of course celebrate their success with them at the end. We are able to include places for 2 members of staff free of charge, there will be an additional cost for more staff to cover camp costs etc. Contact us for more details
