This comprehensive course equips you with the knowledge and skills to manage first aid incidents in remote environments, where emergency services may be delayed.

What the Course Involves 

This practical, hands-on course focuses on the specific challenges of providing first aid in outdoor and remote settings. Over 16 hours of training, you’ll learn: 

1. Scene Assessment and Safety 

    • Assessing risks and managing emergencies in outdoor environments.

2. Primary and Secondary Care 

      • Handling life-threatening conditions such as cardiac arrest, choking, and severe bleeding. 
      • Managing injuries like fractures, sprains, and head trauma.

3. Environmental Considerations 

    • Recognizing and treating conditions like hypothermia, heat exhaustion, and dehydration.

4. Incident Management in Remote Locations 

    • Strategies for prolonged casualty care and communication with emergency services. 

5. Practical Scenarios 

  • Realistic outdoor simulations to build confidence and competence.
